What Happened
The annual inspection found a preschool classroom out of ratio by one child and staff members who were not associated with the preschool component present on site. The center otherwise had clean kitchens, safe outdoor space, current children's records, and an available disaster drill log.
Observations
- The preschool classroom was out of ratio by one child.
- Two staff members were present who were not associated with the school-age component.
- No staff person trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid was present during the inspection.
- Snack menus were not posted where parents could see them.

During staff file review, LPA did not see any Mandated Reporter raining by any staff. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
101216.3 Teacher-Child Ratio(a) There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance, except as specified in (b) and (c) below. During tour, LPA observed 13 children with one teacher in the Preschool classroom. This poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.
