What the inspector wrote

On 04/30/2026 at 12:30pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Diana Ortiz and Caroline Nguyen conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of Correction) inspection to ensure that the two (2) Type B deficiencies cited on 04/08/2026 have been cleared. LPAs met with Director, Melissa Garcia, who guided analysts on a tour of the facility. LPAs obtained a census of 16 children in care and 3 staff. LPAs observed completed 15 minute sleep logs for six (6) infants in care during today’s visit. LPAs also observed a log of fire drills conducted on 04/17/26. Licensing staff reminded Director that fire drills should be conducted at least every 6 months. LPAs cleared deficiencies on this date- LPAs issued POC clearance letters during the visit. During todays inspection Technical Support Program (TSP) referral was given. The licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited on todays visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Melissa Garcia.
