The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. The requirement is not met as evidenced by: Staff grabbed the bottle of cleaning solution instead of the bottle of water and sprayed it in the air as a form of play, as a result, the cleaning solution touched the child's face. This poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.

In centers where the licensee chooses to handle medications: The licensee shall develop and implement a written plan to record the administration of prescription and nonprescription medications and to inform the child's authorized representative daily when such medications have been given. The requirement is not met as evidenced by: Director confirmed medication was not administered as instructed on the date mentioned due to staff miscommunication and also she was alone with 8 toddlers and couldn't step away . This poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.

There shall be a ratio of one teacher for every four infants in attendance.The requirement is not met as evidenced by: Director confirmed that on 5/19/2023, she was alone with 8 toddlers for about 1-2 hour.
