What the inspector wrote

On 03/13/2026 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of Correction) inspection to ensure that the Type B deficiencies cited on 02/12/2026 have been cleared. LPA met with director Brenda Garcia to whom the reason of the inspection was explained. LPA was guided on a tour of the facility. There were no school age children present during this inspection. The following was observed: - Two air conditioning (AC) units protruding outside the windows of classroom #1 were removed and one (AC) unit was placed in the classroom #1. - The school age play yard was observed to be clean free of leaves and debris. - 6 black square-shaped tile padding under the three play structures in the school age play yard were removed and have not been replaced. - The play structure with the metal slide had a crack at the end/bottom and was observed to be repaired. LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov Based on the LPA observations and records review, the following deficiencies listed on the attached LIC 809D (deficiency page) are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children’s health & safety. Photographs were taken of the play yard. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal rights given. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with director Brenda Garcia.
