The requirement is not met as evidenced by: A child was left on the facility bus, during a hot day alone for a period of time. This poses an immediate health and safety risk for children in care.

  • RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROVIDING CARE AND SUPERVISION

    Responsibility for providing Care and supervision: (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation.The requirement is not met as evidenced by: A child was left alone in the school van due to staff not doing the normal safety sweep of the van to ensure no one or nothing was left behind. This poses an immediate health and safety risk for children in care.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION

    Conduct Inimical: Conduct in the operation or maintenance of a child care center which is inimical to the health, morals, welfare, or safety of either an individual in or receiving services from the facility or the people of the State of California The requirement is not met as evidenced by: Per Interviews with the staff #1 and staff #2 and #3, all three admitted that they did lie to the police and to the department regarding the actual story of what happened regarding the child being left on the bus. This poses an immediate health and safety risk for children in care.

The requirement is not met as evidenced by LPA observed two of the van/bus that are used to transport children, the registration has expired as of September 2022. The blue van/bus has a broken side mirrow. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

    Buildings and Grounds. The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. The requirement is not met as evidenced by LPA observed in the outdoor play yard black tarp below the wood chips is protruding in several areas of the yard and nails protruding from the green fake grass area and the wood surrounding it is warping. Yard has trash and the trash can is over flowing This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
