What the inspector wrote

CASE-MANAGEMENT INSPECTION CONDUCTED IN ARMENIAN Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced case management inspection to the above facility on 01/07/2022. LPA arrived at the facility at 11:00 a.m. and met with licensee, Lianna Shahnazaryan who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present was Sevada Antonyan, licensee's husband/assistant. Per licensee, facility was closed from 01/03/2022 to 01/07/2022 for holidays. This is a one story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 restrooms, living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, laundry room, backyard (fenced), front yard, storage in the backyard, and detached converted garage in the backyard. There is a fireplace in the living room which has been blocked off to prevent access to children. The children use the bathroom in the hallway, living room, dining room, family room, 1 bedroom, backyard (fenced). Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, front yard, storage in the backyard, laundry room, and detached converted guest house. LPAs observed a safety gate was installed in the kitchen to make the kitchen inaccessible to the children. Per licensee, currently children only use the detached converted garage bathroom while they were outside. LPA informed licensee, effective today she is not allowed to use the bathroom in the detached converted garage for daycare children until licensee submit her request to use the detached converted garage for daycare and grant an approval from department. Per licensee, she will keep the detached garage door closed all the times during daycare hours. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no citations being issued today from the areas that were inspected today. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Lianna Shahnazaryan at 1:15 p.m..
