What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Mooberry conducted an unannounced case management visit to ensure deficiencies cited during 9/5/25 inspection have been corrected. LPA explained the purpose of inspection to licensee and was allowed into home. LPA observed 4 children and staff 1 supervising. During this inspection LPA inspected the home and reviewed records. LPA observed the backyard that is used by children in care is enclosed, there are no visible hazards to children in care. LPA observed the refrigerator in the backyard has a safety latch on the door to prevent children from opening, licensee states children are always supervised while they play in backyard. LPA observed no medications accessible to children in care, When needed, medications are kept in overhead cabinet in kitchen inaccessible to children in care. Record review show licensee and staff 1 have completed the required EMSA pediatric CPR/1st Aid on 9/12/25. The mandated reported training has been completed. Licensee stated MMR and Tdap immunization are not available for staff 1. The deficiency was not corrected, posing a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care. Per licensee, Staff 1 has requested records and is waiting for them. LPA provided technical assistance on immunization requirements and options should the record not be obtained. LPA also discussed with licensee the importance of paying facility fees in a timely manner to avoid late fees or possible forfeiture pursuant to H&S Code Sections 1596.750; 1596.80; 1596.803; and 1596.8535(d). Exit interview was conducted with licensee Victoria Palmer. Notice of Site visit was given. Appeal rights were discussed and a copy provided.
