What the inspector wrote

On 11/01/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Pa Kou Vue and Joe Pacheco conducted an unannounced case management inspection to interview the Director regarding a restroom waiver submitted to Child Care Licensing on 10/04/2023 and possible options. LPAs were met by Director Leslie Oliveira. LPAs observed on the school age side, two toilets, one urinal and three sinks for the boy\342\200\231s restroom and three toilets and three sinks for the girl\342\200\231s restroom. LPAs observed one staff toilet and one sink and an additional one toilet and one sink in located in the main lobby. LPAs informed Director to have an isolated restroom when there is a school age child who is sick and to ensure the restroom is cleaned and sanitized after each use. LPAs requested a revised restroom waiver request from the Director with additional informational as discussed during today\342\200\231s inspection. Waiver is to be submitted to management for review. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Leslie Oliveira. Appeal rights were provided. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
