What the inspector wrote

On 6/03/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Madeline Do conducted a plan of correction (POC) inspection for the purpose of inspecting the playground located outside of Classroom 2. LPA Do met with Director Begole and was led on a tour of the facility. There were 24 children and four staff present. LPA Do inspected the playground located outside of Classroom 2. LPA observed the debris, old furniture, nail, and sharp screws were removed. However, there were cots, sharp rocks, and tarps on the ground. There was a piece of glass tabletop (no sharp edges) leaning against the fence. Director stated they will ask the gardeners who come on Thursday 6/4/26 to remove the sharp rocks and the glass tabletop. Director removed the cots during this inspection. Director stated the owners are out of town at this time, but the Director will ask the owner to remove the tarps upon their return. Director stated that they will submit proof of glass and sharp rocks removal by close of business on Friday 6/05/2026. LPA completed a telephone contact with licensee Arlene Roepke per licensee's request. LPA reviewed the report with licensee and offered an opportunity for licensee to ask questions. Licensee did not have any questions. Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with director Begole. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were provided to director Begole. End of report.
