During the staff interview, 6 out of 6 staff stated they have not witnessed any staff encouraging children to fight. 6 of 6 staff stated they are aware of children’s personal rights and have not witnessed any staff violating children’s personal rights. Staff 1 (S1) stated they stop children who are fighting by explaining why it is not okay to fight. Staff 2 (S2) stated C1 does not really play with other friends. Staff 3 (S3) stated they talk to the children when they begin fighting. Staff 4 (S4) stated C1 plays on their own. S4 stated when children start fighting, they separate them. LPA interviewed 2 parents and none of the parents interviewed disclosed any information that could support the allegation. LPA interviewed 6 children and none of the children interviewed disclosed any information that could support the allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged Staff are encouraging day care children to engage in physical behavior did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
