What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ketki Desai conducted an announced Case Management Licensee initiated inspection for a follow up for the Infant yard. There is no change in capacity. Facility Director Ms. Rivas, Ana gave a tour of the Toddler play yard, which shall be shared by Infants on a rotating schedule. On today's inspection the capacity for Infants remains at 12 and there were no infants present today. Infants shall use the soft padded area which is completely shaded with an awning. There is a soft collapsible play pens for young infants to crawl and spend time outside while the older infants can play in the open section which has age appropriate infant outdoor equipment’s. The outdoor equipment’s designated for infants are safe, free of hazards with no sharp edges. Total outdoor activity space was measure and is as follows: Toddler yard: 75.33 X 42.33 = 3188.72 = 42 .52 (42 children) The yard has enough outdoor space for 42 children, this yard shall be used by 24 Toddlers (18-36 months) and 12 Infants (3 months to 24 months) on a rotating schedule. LPA have received the Waiver request letter for Infants to share the yard with Toddlers on a rotating schedule, Activity Schedule and Pictures of the Yard on today’s inspection. Preschool classroom is no longer using this yard. Facility Director shall be notified if additional information is needed. A copy of this report, Appeal rights were presented to the Facility Director Ms. Rivas Ana. Exit interview conducted. Notice of Site Visit was posted. Director was informed that the Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post it will result in civil penalties of $100.
