Correction check·May 28, 2025

At 4:05pm on 5/28/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Gallo arrived at the facility to conduct a plan of correction visit related to citations issued on 5/22/2025. Upon arrival, LPA observed a census of 16 school aged children supervised by 1 staff member. LPA had previously met with director Paolo Sarmiento at 4:00pm at the 801 Sterling Parkway location. The licensee was previously cited a Type A deficiency on 5/22/2025 for not complying with regulations regarding staff qualifications in the case of an aide supervising children without the presence of teacher. Director stated that they will use Child Care Careers to have a fill in teacher present, and will provide LPA with a work order displaying this by the POC due date. LPA will return to ensure compliance. At 4:05pm, LPA observed that the 16 school children were supervised by a qualified school-aged teacher. The plan of correction has been met; therefore, the deficiency has been cleared. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Paolo Sarmiento. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
