What the inspector wrote

This agency has investigated the allegation of Personal Rights- Facility staff do not wear a mask and do not encourage daycare children to wear a mask. The preponderance of evidence standard has been met, and therefore, the above allegation is found to be substantiated. An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights discussed and provided along with a copy of this report to Ms. Anton on this date. A copy of this report must be made available to the public upon request for three years. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND LPAs VERIFIED THAT IT WAS POSTED IN A PROMINENT LOCATION AT THE FACILITY BEFORE LEAVING. THE LICENSEE UNDERSTANDS THAT IT MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS.

    Personal Rights - (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidenced by On 9/13/2021 LPAs observed a total of 141 children only a few were wearing a mask in the preschool classroom however the majority were not wearing any face coverings, and are not being encouraged or provided with face coverings/mask. Additionally, information obtained revealed that prior to 9/13/2021, face coverings were not being enforced for staff, until approximately 3-4 >>>>>>>>>>>>
