What the inspector wrote

On 12/17/25 at 9:30 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Giselle Carbullido and Chase Atherton conducted a Licensee initiated Case Management inspection with facility representatives, Trudy Oliver and Tanya Soleski. Facility is requesting a change (increase) in capacity for infant program and includes an additional room 14/15. Capacity requested is 38 and facility has submitted required documentation, fees and new fire clearance to the department. Days and hours of operation are Monday -Thursday (6:30 AM - 6:00 PM); Friday (6:30AM- 5:15 PM.) Fire clearance dated 12/10/25 identified total capacity for all programs is 175 total. Per fire clearance the infant program will operate in the following rooms: 14/15 (19 infants) and 16/17 (19 infants) for a total capacity of: 38 infants. I nfant Indoor Activity Area: LPAs has determined that there is sufficient indoor space to accommodate requested capacity. Infant Bathroom Fixtures in room There was 1 toilet and 4 potty chairs and 5 sinks sufficient to accommodate requested capacity. Infant Outdoor Activity Area: From previous report dated 08/01/25 for outdoor measurements have determined that there is NOT sufficient space to accommodate current capacity request. Facility has submitted a waiver request for rotation of shared activity space for infant classrooms and toddler option not to exceed capacity of (28) for outdoor activity space. The following was observed: A waiver is on file for infant toddlers to use activity space for napping. Hazards and other items that are dangerous are stored inaccessible to children. All floors are clean and safe, and classroom is equipped with appropriate size and age furniture. Bathrooms were observed to be safe, sanitary and in operating condition. Outdoor activity areas are enclosed by appropriate fences, free of hazards and supplied with age and size appropriate equipment in good condition. Areas around or under high climbing equipment have material (foam matting) that absorbs a fall Limiting factors for infant program capacity is fire clearance dated 12/10/25 for 38 infants. Infant programs shall operate in accordance with identified age groups per room as noted on the fire clearance. An exit interview was conducted, and facility representative Trudy Oliver was provided with a copy of this report, appeal rights and notice of site visit. This report must be made available to the public upon request for three years.
