This is an amended version of the original report created on 11/07/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer Velasco met with Facility Representative, Director Parveen Sandhu (Director), for the purpose of conducting an unannounced subsequent complaint investigation inspection to deliver complaint findings. The purpose of today's inspection was explained to Director. It was alleged a staff assaulted a child in care. This complaint investigation was assigned to the Department's Investigation Bureau, which conducted document reviews and interviews in collaboration with law enforcement. Document reviews and interviews failed to provide a preponderance of evidence to support the allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or may be valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated. LPA discussed this report with Director and provided this report to Director. LPA also provided notice of site visit, which is to be posted for parental review for 30 days.
