What Happened
A case management visit was conducted to discuss deficiencies, and inspectors determined that four uncleared adults had been working in the center. One adult had an incomplete fingerprint application and three others were not associated with the facility. A Type A deficiency was cited.
Observations
- Four uncleared adults had been working in the center.
- One uncleared adult had fingerprints submitted on 2022-05-12, but the application was closed as incomplete on 2022-08-10.
- Three uncleared adults were not associated with the facility.

101216 Criminal Record Clearance (i) Prior to employment or initial presence in the child care center, all employees and volunteers subject to a criminal record review shall obtain a California clearance. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: LPA observed 4 adults working in the facility without a criminal record clearance. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.
