What the inspector wrote

At 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Karyn Guerra and Josiah Gathing met with Director, Michelle Ingram, for the purpose of an unannounced case management inspection. A citation was issued previously on 10/19/2022 regarding indoor activity space. Another citation was issued on 11/2/2022 regarding sanitation practices. During today's inspection, LPAs observed corrected wall barrier to divide infant napping space from the indoor activity space. LPAs also observed that carpets were cleaned. Measurements were taken during today's inspection. Indoor activity space: The indoor activity space was measured and recorded on a capacity worksheet. The indoor activity space consists of two classrooms, 1 older infant classroom, and 1 younger infant classroom. There is a total area of 662.78 square feet which will accommodate the total capacity of 18 infants. Outdoor activity space: Outdoor activity space was previously measured during a prelicensing inspection and has not changed. LPA reminded Director that rotating play space waiver shall be posted in a prominent place. In the areas that were evaluated, no citations were issued during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted and this report was reviewed with the Director, Michelle Ingram. Appeal rights and a notice of site visit were provided. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
