What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Managers (LPM) Jeevun Birk-Miller and Mai Lor and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erwina Pascual-Golamco met with Licensee, Kelli Vaccaro and Director, Amanda Samson, for the purpose of an informal compliance conference. LPM defined the difference between non-compliance and informal conference. LPM advised that the purpose of today's meeting is to help the facility gain compliance. Today's informal conference was to discuss the Type A citations issued on the dates indicated below: 07/01/25 \342\200\223 Absence of Supervision, UIR submitted incident date 06/23/25, child left in the playground. Repeat Violation. 06/05/25 \342\200\223 Absence of Supervision, Substantiated Complaint, child left in the playground. The Licensee stated that they have taken the following steps to maintain compliance: 1. Active supervision training with staff for name to face, and a visual sweep of the playground or classroom before doors close. 2. Staff meeting, on boarding and refresher trainings provided with staff as often as possible. 3. Staff are required to take their clipboards with the name to face checklist before leaving the classroom and submitted to administration at the end of the day. Continued on LIC809-C\342\200\246 LPA and LPM reviewed personal rights and supervision requirements. LPA discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. LPM and LPA provided information regarding the Technical Support Program (TSP), which is a non-enforcement arm of the Community Care Licensing Division offering on-site support to licensees and providers. Licensee will follow up with request to LPA for TSP services. LPM suggested that Licensee can view information videos at www.ccld.childcarevideos.org . This report was reviewed with Licensee, Kelli Vaccaro and Director, Amanda Samson.
