What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Managers (LPM) Mai Lor and Seychelle De Luca and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erwina Pascual-Golamco met with Facility Representatives Miranda McCarthy and Mosa Laren, for the purpose of an informal compliance conference. LPM defined the difference between non-compliance and informal conference. LPM advised that the purpose of today's meeting is to help the facility gain compliance. Today's informal conference was to discuss the Type A and Type B citations issued on the dates indicated below: 05/08/25 – Type A Absence of Supervision 05/08/25 – Type B – Reporting Requirements 04/11/25 – Type A Lack of Supervision 04/11/25 – Type B Reporting Requirements Licensee Representatives stated that they have taken the following steps to maintain compliance: 1. Supervision, Personal Rights, and Reporting Requirement Trainings were provided to staff, and will be incorporated during on boarding. 2. Structure of classrooms were changed, facility added supervision chair right outside the bathroom and white boards for headcounts were added per classroom. 3. Facility s cheduled additional staff and replaced the push bars on the exterior doors, so they remain unlocked, but closed at all times. continued on LIC809-C... LPA discussed follow up documentation for Plan Of Corrections (POCs). LPM and LPA reviewed personal rights and supervision requirements. LPM and LPA discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. LPM and LPA provided information regarding the Technical Support Program (TSP), which is a non-enforcement arm of the Community Care Licensing Division offering onsite support to licensees and providers. Facility Representative will follow up with request to LPA for TSP services. LPM suggested that Licensee can view information videos at https://ccld.childcarevideos.org/ This report was reviewed with the Facility Representatives, Miranda McCarthy and Mosa Laren.
