Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Continued from LIC 9099. Observations, document reviews, and witness statements failed to corroborate the allegation that the facility operated out of ratio and failed to corroborate the allegation that staff did not provide adequate food service. The preponderance of evidence standard has not been met; therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, who was provided with Appeal Rights. Notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for parental review for 30 days.

101239 Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies (a) A comfortable temperature for children shall be maintained at all times. This requirement was not met as evidenced by multiple witness statements that for one or more days children were in care, the facility provided care despite the fact that the indoor temperature was uncomfortably high, causing the children discomfort. This constitutes a potential risk to the health, safety, and/or personal rights of children in care.
