What the inspector wrote

Continued from LIC 9099. being broken. Multiple witnesses stated parents were not notified of the broken air conditioner and resulting high temperatures in the facility. Multiple witnesses stated the air conditioning system had been repaired the day before LPA's initial inspection after having been broken for several days. LPA document reviews and witness statements corroborated the allegation that the facility operated while failing to maintain a comfortable temperature for children. The preponderance of evidence standard has not been met; therefore, the allegation is substantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, who was provided with Appeal Rights. Notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for parental review for 30 days.
