  • Outdoor yard floors made of European tiles reaching temperatures hot to touch in direct sunlight
  • Tiles in direct sun at 10:20 AM; partial shade by 11:36 AM; more extensive shade by 1:33 PM
  • Child sustained second-degree burns on right and left palms and forearms from crawling on hot tiles on 5/21/2025 at approximately 10:45 AM
  • No shade covering in Toddler yard area where incident occurred
  • Child taken to hospital by parent following incident
