INFANT SAFE SLEEP
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed 2 children sleeping in cribs. One crib had a sleeping child with a blanket, pillow, bottle and toy. This child just turned 2 years old approximately 3 weeks ago, but was sleeping in a crib. The other crib had an infant sleeping with a blanket wrapped around them. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Staffing Ratio and Capacity(3) More than six and up to eight children, without an additional adult attendant, only if the criteria in Section 1597.44 of the Health and Safety Code are met. This requirement was not being met as: Upon arrival to the facility, LPAs observed licensee assistant providing care and supervision for 8 children, 3 of these children were younger than 24 months. Licensee, arrived 15-30 minutes later. This poses an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.

All individuals subject to a criminal record review... prior to working, residing, or volunteering in a licensed home, shall obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Licensee admitted that she requested assistance from a family friend ( uncleared adult)to help her with transportation on one occasion because she could not find her car keys. This is an immediate Health and Safety risk to the Personal Right of the children in care.CIVIL PENALTIES HAVE BEEN ASSESSED
