What the inspector wrote

On 10/10/2025 @ 9:35AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted a follow-up inspection in reference to the plan of corrections to deficiencies cited on 10/01/2025. LPA met with Mrs. Asker today. There were NO children observed present today. On August 15, 2025, Mrs. Asker submitted an application requesting for increase of capacity to 14 children. The Fire Marshall (San Miguel Fire Department) approved the capacity for 14 children on 9/03/2025 via form STD 850 received at the Regional Office on September 3, 2025. The following corrections were observed today: 1. A fire drill was conducted on 10/2/2025. 2. LPA observed that Mrs. Asker maintained a daily inspection of the pool. 3. 4 children's immunization record was observed in the file. 4. Form LIC 995A were observed signed and on file. 5. LPA observed that Mrs. Asker now maintains a current Children's Roster. There were no additional deficiencies noted today. An increase of capacity to 14 children is granted effective 10/10/2025. Mrs. Asker stated that her husband, Bashar Asker is her designated assistant. A Large family day care home may provide care for more than 12 children and up to and including 14 children when; At least one child is enrolled in and attending Kindergarten and one child in elementary school. No more than 3 infants.
