Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Saraliz Velando conducted an announced Inspection for a Capacity Change. LPA was greeted at the front door by Licensee, Hasam Noori. LPA was granted entry after identifying herself and disclosing the purpose of the visit. The LPA toured the two-level home. Licensee will be using the following areas for daycare: Kitchen, Living room, Dining room, Bathroom 1, and Backyard. The following areas are Off Limits: All 2nd floor. There is a garage attached to the unit that is also off limits and inaccessible by a lock and doorknob cover. The home can safely accommodate 14 children in care. The fire clearance was granted on 7/3/25. Licensee stated there is a community pool that can only be accessed by a resident key card and remains locked at all times. There is a fireplace that is screened and inaccessible to children. Storage for poisons, detergents, cleaning solutions, medications are inaccessible to children by placement out of reach of children and/or located in off limits areas. The home is kept clean and orderly with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Outdoor play will take place in the fenced Backyard with constant supervision. Pediatric CPR and First Aid card will expire March 2026. Licensee has a Mandated Reporter Training certificate that will expire in April 2026. There is a working telephone and email address. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed Applicant of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. There are no corrections needed. Once the final review is completed the Department will issue a license for fourteen (14). Landlord Consent on file for fourteen (14). Licensee agrees to comply with all regulations and laws governing Large Family Child Care Homes. Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with the Licensee, Hasam Noori.
