What Happened
Infant care center with 19 infants and 7 teachers in segregated ambulatory and non-ambulatory rooms maintains proper infant sleep protocols with transparent supervision walls. All safety and compliance systems verified operational. One Type B deficiency and two technical violations cited.

Smoking Prohibition - Smoking is prohibited on the premises of a child care center as specified in Health and Safety Code Section 1596.795(b). This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on file review and staff interviews conducted by LPA, there was a staff member caring for children under the influence of marijuana. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to the children in care.
- Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section above, as one infant staff did not have a tuberculosis on file and was unable to provide proof of one conducted.
