What the inspector wrote

On 8/12/25 at 11:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annette Sutherland conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Site Director Kate Rohr and Site Supervisor Rachel Cabato and explained the purpose of the visit. The purpose of this visit was to inspect two new classrooms that were added for the school-age program. There is a decrease in capacity from 80 \342\200\223 56 children. The two classrooms numbered 5 & 6 were added and were inspected. This is sufficient space to accommodate the decrease. There are no hazards, toxins or poisons accessible to children in these rooms. The rooms are fully furnished with age-appropriate tables, chairs, play equipment, supplies and materials. There is storage available for the children\342\200\231s personal belongings. The rooms appear to be free of insects and/or rodents. There are working carbon monoxide detectors in each room Restrooms are located down the hall. Drinking water is readily available indoors and outdoors. This program operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 2:10pm - 6pm and Wednesday 12:20 - 6:00pm. The outdoor activity space used by the school age children is the black top right outside the classrooms. These areas include sufficient shade. The areas are fenced with a fence that is at least 4\342\200\231 high. A fire clearance for 56 school aged children was approved on 7/30/25. No corrections are needed. The licensee may begin using these new rooms today. The license will be updated to reflect the new classroom numbers.
