What the inspector wrote

On 5/22/2024 @ 11:15AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nancy Diaz conducted an unannounced inspection. LPA met with Site Director Cristy Novoa and Admin. Ass't. Gricelda Olvera. A tour of the preschool was conducted. Observed present today were 40 preschool children in the Giraffe, Pandas and Koalas rooms with 5 staff. It was alleged that the facility fence presents a hazard to children in care. LPA observed the fence to be corroded, rusted and chipping. Photos were taken of the fence. A copy of childrens' roster was provided today. Based on LPA's observation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were also provided.
