What the inspector wrote
Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. LPA, and the applicant, Mina toured the entire house for health and safety hazards. This is a change of location from Hale street, license number 384004636. The licensee owns this home. The control of property is on file. Current residents are Minna, her husband, her mom, dad, and their 9 years old son. All adults living at the facility has fingerprint clearance. Days and hours of operation: Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM to 06:00 PM.
Day Care Areas : living room, kitchen, dining room and backyard.
Off-limit areas: bedroom #1 (applicant's room), bedroom #2 (mom and dad), and the garage. The home has a size 2A10BC fire extinguisher, a carbon monoxide detector, and a smoke detector. LPA advised the facility to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
CPR and 1st aid is current until 05-02-2027.
The facility does not have a body of water such as a swimming pool, or hot tub. Discipline policy is re-direction. The facility will provide meals (morning snacks, afternoon snacks, lunches). The off limit areas is barricaded.
LPA reviewed AB 1207 with the applicant. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at

. The applicant AB1207 certificate is current until 06-01-2026.

The applicant, Minna was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, before initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPAs discussed the safe sleep regulations with the licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at

as an additional resource. LPAs also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at

recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased
equipment.
Individual Infant Sleeping Plan (LIC9227) form was discussed and provided.
LIC9227 is for Infant under 12 month old. When the infant(new born to 24 month old) is napping, it needs to be checked every 15 mins and documented on a log sheet.

On this date 05/27/2025, the California Attorney General \342\200\223 Megan\342\200\231s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California\342\200\231s Megan\342\200\231s Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.

LPA reviewed with Minna, the LIC311D, Forms/Records to Keep in Your Family Child Care Homes, children\342\200\231s forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the applicant, Minna.
