Facility-requested visit·September 27, 2023

On September 27th, 2023, at 11:32AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault conducted an announced Case Management Inspection. Licensee applied for a room addition with increase of capacity. LPA met with interim director Shannon Pimentel and discussed the purpose of the inspection. At the time of the inspection there zero (0) present, morning session had concluded. The facility is located on the grounds of Marie Bauer Early Education Center. Preschool program operates Monday \342\200\223 Friday 7:30AM \342\200\223 4:00PM. Currently facility is licensed for 1 room (classroom #7), and outdoor activity area with a capacity of 20. Licensee applied on 8/24/2023 to add portable classroom #10, outdoor activity space, remove classroom #7 from license, and increase capacity to 24. LPA observed classroom to contain age-appropriate toys and equipment, three individual bathrooms with one sink and one toilet present in all three. A separate hand washing sink is also available. Carbon monoxide was tested at 12:07pm and functioning at the time of the inspection, fire extinguisher was last serviced on 7/12/2023. Outdoor play area consists of one blacktop yard with soft foam, padding and equipment and one side yard with grass and ample shade. Perimeter fencing and gates are present. Total indoor area available for care and supervision is 1,101.67sq. ft and 6,554.75 sq. ft for outdoor use. A fire clearance inspection was conducted on 8/30/2023 by the Paso Robles Fire Department and cleared the facility for capacity of 24. Licensure pending manager approval and receipt of fee. Exit interview conducted with Ms. Pimentel and Notice of Site Visit posted.
