What the inspector wrote
On July 1, 2025, at 8:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced Annual Random at the above Family Childcare Home (FCCH). LPA met with Licensee and assistant. The purpose of the inspection was discussed. FCCH operates from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, 5:00 AM \342\200\223 3:00 PM . Licensee provides care to children aged 0 to 13 years old
LPA and Licensee toured the home. There were 12 children present; - 3 infants, 5 toddlers, 4 school age children. The areas accessible to children, include living room, dining area, one bathroom, and fenced backyard. Areas inaccessible to children are 2

floor, bottom of staircase is barricaded, kitchen which is enclosed with baby gates, bedrooms, and garage. Bathroom is toxin free during the inspection.
Fire extinguisher was serviced on 12/20/2024, Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and found functional. Age-appropriate toys, playpen, and equipment were observed in the home. Children\342\200\231s bathroom is free of toxins. Sharps, medicines, and toxins are stored in the area inaccessible to children in care. LPA did not observe bodies of water was observed. Licensee confirmed there are no guns and ammunition at home. .
The FCCH backyard is fully fenced, The area is free of hazards and equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment.
LPA reviewed the facility file and confirmed that Licensee and assistant hold a current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certificate with expiration date of 2/20/2027 Licensee and Staff member\342\200\231s Mandated reporter training certificates expire on 9/17/2025 and 2/19/2027, respectively.
Children\342\200\231s Files were reviewed and found complete; Infant 0-12 months have Infant Safe Sleep Plan (LIC 9227) on file. Licensee and assistants document the napping situations of infants (0-24 months) every 15 minutes. Children's Roster is current.

Licensee, was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
The FCCH is not providing Incidental Medical Services (IMS). IMS policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
During the exit interview, the LICENSEE, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS.
During today's inspection, no deficiency was cited, Technical Violation was issued.
A notice of site visit was given to Licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.

LPAs also informed licensee, the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at

and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
