Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Mandeep Kaur conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Lalitha Srinivasan, and explained to her the nature of today's inspection. Also present in the home were licensee's spouse, Kishore Srinivasan and three preschool age children. All required posting materials were posted. The day care hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The adults residing in the home are: Licensee, Licensee's spouse, and Licensee's adult son (Athindriya Srinivasan) . There are no active waivers or exceptions for this facility. LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the facility. LPA reviewed a current Child Care Facility Roster and Fire/disaster drill was conducted on February 05, 2025. Licensee was advised of Fire/disaster drill shall be conducted and documented every six months. LPA observed a fully charged fire extinguisher, functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and 1 barricaded fireplace (located in the living room). Licensee states that there are no weapons or firearms in the home. Off limit areas of the home are : 1.5 bath, 2 bedrooms, and garage. Off limit areas outside the home: locked storage shed. LPA observed that the home is clean and orderly. Cleaning products, sharp objects, and other items that are dangerous to children were stored inaccessible. LPA observed sufficient age-appropriate materials, toys, and play equipment in the home. The children's bathroom is clean, sanitary, and operable. No bodies of water observed during today's inspection. LPA reviewed three(3)children files during today's inspection for the following records: Notification of Parents Rights (LIC995A), Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment (LIC627), Affidavit Regarding Liability Insurance (LIC 282), Identification and Emergency Information (LIC700), Individual infant sleeping plan (LIC9227),sleep log, and Immunization Records. Continuation on next pages: Licensee has immunizations in measles, pertussis and flu. Licensee has current Pediatric CPR/First Aid certifications with an expiration date of August 25, 2026 and Mandated Reporter Training (AB1207) was completed on 01/18/2025. LPA reminded Licensee that Mandated Reporter Training(AB1207) must be renewed by all staff every 2 years. Day care home provides morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack to the children. Healthy Beverage requirements were discussed during today's inspection with Licensee. LPA provided and discussed the safe sleep regulations with Licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at an additional resource. LPA also reminded Licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual- Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes, Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. Licensee, Lalitha Srinivasan, was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&R's) throughout California. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. No deficiency issued during today's inspection. Appeal rights provided. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Lalitha Srinivasan. . During the exit interview, the Licensee, Lalitha Srinivasan, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
