What Happened
Annual/random inspection found licensee out of ratio and overcapacity caring for 7 children alone (5 infants, 1 preschool, 1 school age). Hazardous items left accessible. Multiple documentation deficiencies and no insurance coverage.
Observations
- Licensee alone caring for 7 children including 5 infants - out of ratio and over capacity
- Two infants in play yards in napping room, left alone (not actually sleeping as claimed)
- Shampoos, conditioners, soaps in bathroom shower accessible to children
- Air freshener under bathroom sink accessible to children
- Assistant Angelica Ramirez Benito worked January-February 2024 without fingerprint clearance
- Child 3 and 5 missing LIC627 form
- Child 3 and 5 immunization records need to be updated
- Licensee only had Safe Sleep log for 12 months (should extend through 24 months for infants)
- No daycare insurance coverage
