On February 28, 2024, LPA Ouye returned to interview preschool children. Four to five year old children (C1-C5) were interviewed between 11:55am to 12:12pm. LPA Ouye was able to qualify the children to be interviewed with regards to the allegation: Children are being left without supervision in the classroom but could not qualify any of the children with regards to the allegation of Facility operating out of ratio. The children said that they have fun and enjoyed being at the center. The children said that they were never left without a teacher in the classroom. Based on the interviews conducted , although the allegations may have or may not have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. This report was reviewed and discussed with the Director. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit shall be posted for 30 days from today’s visit.
