What the inspector wrote
On 6/2/2025 an unannounced annual inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analysts, (LPAs) Yesenia Fierro and Erica Pacheco. LPAs met with Owner Amanda Simoni and Site Supervisor, Rebecca Garcia and toured the facility, both indoors and outdoors. LPAs observed all required licensing forms to be posted in a visible location for authorized representatives to view them. Daily activity schedule and snack menus were posted where an authorized representative can view them. A census was taken and there were 15 day care children present. This facility runs a full day program Monday through Friday from 7:00AM-5:00PM.
During today\342\200\231s inspection LPAs observed the facility to have a complete first aid kit, the facility was found to be clean with adequate heating and ventilation for the comfort of those in care. LPAs observed floors, furniture and equipment are clean and in serviceable condition. Toilets and handwashing facilities are safe, sanitary, and in operating condition.
This facility does not provide meals, but do provide snacks, LPAs observed
food preparation and storage areas are clean, free of litter/rubbish and free of rodents/vermin. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair. Facility was observed to be free of flies, insects, and rodents. The LPAs did not observe disinfectants, cleaning solutions and other dangerous items to be accessible to children. There were no poisons observed on the premises accessible to children. Site Supervisor is aware that poisons are required to be locked and inaccessible to children.

LPAs observed during today\342\200\231s inspection LPAs observed toys, play equipment, materials and surfaces accessible to children are clean and in operable condition. LPAs observed outdoor playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, lose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around high climbing equipment, such as swings and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls. LPA\342\200\231s observed a chicken cope on the premises, children are supervised by staff when chicken are being help or petted. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
LPAs reviewed a sample of children\342\200\231s files and observed files were complete with contact information for authorized representative and or relatives or others who can assume responsibility for the child, medical assessment, and immunizations recorded. The person who signs the child in/out of the facility shall use their full legal signature and record the time of day. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. There is a ratio of one teacher supervising no more than 12 children in attendance. Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained.
LPAs reviewed a sample of staff files and observed files were complete with health screening, immunization records for influenza, pertussis and measles and current documentation of completed mandated reporter training. Staff records contain documentation of meeting qualification requirements. The name of the childcare center director or fully qualified teacher(s) designated to act in the director\342\200\231s absence has been reported to the Department.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) are currently being provided. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records. which will provide access to Provider Information Notices (PINs), Quarterly Updates, COVID-19 Information and Resources, Mandated Reporter Training, Safe Sleep in Child Care, Lead Poisoning Facts, Forms and Regulations. CON'T 809-C
LPAs discussed the safe sleep regulations with Site Supervisor and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at

as an additional resource. LPA also informed Site Supervisor of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at

and recommended they register all infants devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
Site Supervisor was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
CCC completed testing and with lead exceedance facility does not provide drinking or cook with on site water. Children bring their own bottle waters and the facility provides water via water dispenser\342\200\231s.
Site Supervisor was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
