What the inspector wrote

This agency has investigated the complaint allegation stated above and have found that the complaint was SUBSTANTIATED, meaning the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, the following deficiency was cited (see LIC 9099-D). An Exit interview was conducted with representatives Vidala Gallegos and Jayboy Camaquin. Appeal Rights were provided. Copy of Notice of Site Visit LIC 9213 will be posted for 30 days.

    (b)All children shall be given an opportunity to nap or rest without distraction or disturbance from other activities at the center.(1)A napping space and a cot or mat shall be available for each child under the age of five. Based on observation and interview the licensee did not meet the requirement stated above. Today, LPA observed children napping without mats or cots and representatives confirmed the observation. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety and or personal rights of children in care.
