What the inspector wrote

Child #1 disclosed that they were inappropriately touched by Adult #1 a year ago on the upper thigh but did not disclose being inappropriately touched anywhere else on their body. Child #1 denied Adult #1 touched any other day care children inappropriately. Day-care parents and children were interviewed and did not yield information to corroborate the allegation at this time. Adult #1 was interviewed by Lindsay Police Department and Tulare County Sheriff Office and denied the allegation. Although the allegations may or may not have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the allegation is Unsubstantiated. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 no deficiency cited. Exit interview conducted with licensee, Mericia Garcia and appeal rights were provided.LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
