A second unannounced case management inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli. Met with Spanish-speaking Applicant, Norma Avila and her Assistant, Josefina Avila, who were caring for three day care children, one was napping in a play yard and two were awake playing in the backyard while the assistant was providing care and supervision to the children. Licensee, her husband, and three minor child reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or The purpose of today's inspection is to inspect the following corrections were made. \302\267 Licensee installed a key lockable device located on the pool gate, no lower than 60 inches above the ground. \302\267 Licensee updated her Mandated Reporter Training certification on 1/30/2025. Licensure as a Large Family Day Care Home capacity of 14 children will be recommended effective 5/9/2025. * Planned hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
