This requirement was not met as evidenced by: record review and interview. Licensee provided LPA with proof of required Mandated Reporter Training (AB1207) completed on 3/10/23. Licensee will need to update training. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety and/or personal rights of children in care.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Items in the backyard accessible to children: Motor oil, shovels (2), rusted nails/tools on top of high toolbox, fence boards with nails, water hose, extension cord and side gate needs repair to close.

LPA Mercado observed in the backyard an in-ground pool that is made accessible to day care children through an off limits bedroom window and pool fencing is less than 5 feet high making pool accessible to day care children which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
