What the inspector wrote

On 11/18/25 at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Deborah Khashe, conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with Licensee, Anita Vicini. Present in the facility was Licensee and her assistant, Konrad Ehresmen supervising 9 children including 4 infants. Facility hours of operation are Monday \342\200\223 Friday from 6:00 am \342\200\223 7:00 pm. LPA verified that annual fees are current. All adults present have criminal record clearance. Licensee, Anita Vicini was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. A health and safety inspection was conducted in all areas accessible to children. Upon entry, LPA Khashe observed the posting of the Facility License and Notification of Parent Rights. Off-limit rooms are: All areas EXCEPT dining room, living room, bathroom, front yard and bedroom #1. Off-limits areas will remain inaccessible to children by closed doors, gates, and/or supervision. The licensee acknowledges that she must contact LPA prior to making an off-limits area on-limits and vice versa. Report Continues on LIC 809-C....Page 2 Page 2 Toys appear to be safe and in working order. Fireplace is appropriately barricaded to prevent access by children. Cleaning agents and detergents are made inaccessible to children. Poison, toxic and hazardous times are made inaccessible to children. Functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were observed in the home and met Title 22 regulations. LPA observed a 2A10BC fire extinguisher. Sharp utensils are inaccessible to children. The backyard is fenced and has sufficient toys. Licensee states there are no weapons in the home. LPA observed a current roster and confirmed disaster drills are conducted at least once every six months. Last fire drill was conducted on 09/02/25. Licensee discussed the requirement of the fire drill log. Licensee, Anita Vicini understands that she must conduct fire drills as well as log the fire drills at least once every six (6) months. LPA reviewed 5 children\342\200\231s files. LPA observed all infant 15-minute observation checks for napping infants. Preventative health and current pediatric CPR and first aid training was verified for Licensee, and CPR expires 09/12/27. Mandated Reporter Training certificate expires: 03/14/26. Licensee understands the training must be completed once every two years, and training is accessible at www.mandatedreporterca.com . LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee, Anita Vacini and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and- resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for and removing any recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Licensee is not currently providing any Incidental Medical Services. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22- 02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. Report Continues on LIC-809C page 4 Page 4 Licensee, Anita Vacini was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. During the exit interview, the Licensee, Anita Vacini confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility, and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS on 11/16/25.
