What the inspector wrote

On October 2, 2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovani Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Case Management - Incident inspection at the above-mentioned Child Care Center (CCC). LPA met with Director Misbah Saad and Area Director Heather Guerrero and informed them the purpose of the inspection is to follow up on the self reported hand foot and mouth disease (HFMD) outbreak in the preschool and infant facility. At the time of the inspection 14 children were present. On August 3, 2025 the CCC self reported their initial cases of HFMD. LPA notes the facility has not reported any new cases since August 27, 2025. After the initial cases the CCC reported the HFMD to the Ventura County Public Health Department and to Community Care Licensing (CCL). Director informed LPA the CCC followed Ventura County Public Health the guidelines for prevention. LPA observed the CCC notified parents as well. The CCC kept constant communication the parents, Ventura County Health Department, and CCL. LPA notes the Ventura County Health Department closed the HFMD outbreak case on September 9, 2025. No deficiencies cited today. The CCC took appropriate actions for the outbreak.. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Report was reviewed with Director Misbah Saad and Area Director Heather Guerrero. Notice of site visit was given.
