What the inspector wrote

On 07/22/2024 a Case Management Inspection was conducted by LPAs German Negrete and Sylvia Ceja who met with the Licensee Mary Downard LPAs advised the purpose of today's inspection was to review the incident which was reported to the Department on 05/31/2024 LPAs observed Licensee and her assistant providing care to 7 children of which 3 are infants. LPAs requested a toured of the home. Licensee escorted LPAs through the home inside and outside. Licensee Downard stated on 05/30/2024, after the children ended a yoga activity in the living room, the children helped put away the mats. Assistant stated clean up music was played and the children were excited and playing when C#1 and C#2 ran into each other. C#1 sustained a nose injury. Licensee stated she called parent (mom) of C#1's and informed parent of the injury and requested parent to take C#1 to the doctor. Licensee stated C#1s nose was bleeding. Licensee stated parent did seek medical attention for C#1. Licensee stated C#1 returned to the day care the following day. During the visit, LPAs interviewed Licensee and her Assistant during inspection. LPAs were informed they do tell the children not to run in the house and to watch were they are going. Exit Interviewed conducted with Licensee Mary Downard. FAILURE TO POST THE NOTICE OF SITE VISIT FOR 30 DAYS MAY RESULT IN $100.00 CIVIL PENALTY
