(e) All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1569.17(b) shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility:Based on record review and observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not ensuring that S1 had a current criminal background clearance. Based on observation and file review, the Licensee did not ensure R1's over the counter pain medication had a prescription label on the medication. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section above in not providing a proper care plan for R1. It was reviewed that R1 has a foley catheter upon admission but does not have a care plan on file. This poses an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.

§1569.655 Increase in fee rates for elderly residents; 60 days’ written notice stating amount of and reasons for increase; application of section(a) If a licensee of a residential care facility for the elderly increases the rates of fees for residents or makes increases in any of its rate structures for services, the licensee shall provide no less than 60 days' prior written notice to the residents or the residents' representatives setting forth the amount of the increase, the reason for the increase, and a general description of the additional costs, except for an increase in the rate due to a change in the level of care of the resident.
