What the inspector wrote

On 10/25/23 @ 11:25am a Case Management inspection was made by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) E. Laird. LPA E. Laird met with facility administrator Christine McAdams. Based on interviews conducted on 9/21/23 and 10/13/23, staff admitted to allowing children to enter the classrooms unattended. Based on information obtained during these interviews, the following deficiencies are being cited: Lack of Supervision. (See LIC 809D). An exit interview was conducted with facility administrator Christine McAdams and appeal rights were provided. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.

This requirement was not met as evidence by: Staff are allowing children to enter the classrooms unattended which poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care.

    (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidence by: The faciltiy posted pictures and videos of a child without parental consent which poses a potential safety risk to children in care.
