What the inspector wrote

On 03/09/2022, a case management inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst, Pete Espinoza. LPA met with Twila Silva, Site Supervisor, to discuss COVID-19 Inquiries/Concerns reported on 02/04/2022. A complete file review was conducted prior to visit. LPA toured facility and Census was taken. LPA interviewed Site Supervisor. Ms. Silva stated the facility follows California Department of Industrial Relations - Division of Occupational Safety & Health (Cal/OSHA). Ms. Silva stated staff were provided Cal/OSHA guidelines Titled: "What Employers and Workers Need to Know About COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine" Dated: 01/19/2022. Cal/OSHA guidelines state: "The chart reflects the new California Department of Public Heath (CDHP) isolation and quarantine periods guidance from January 6, 2022, which overrides the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards in certain circumstances". Ms. Silva stated Cal/OSHA information was provided to staff on 02/09/2022. Ms. Silva stated there have been staff who are fully vaccinated but not yet booster eligible, who have returned to work based on the Cal/OSHA guidelines. Ms. Silva stated children enrolled in center who test positive for COVID-19 and/or are exposed to someone in the immediate family who tests positive for COVID-19 are required to quarantine for ten days. Ms. silva stated all staff/children enrolled in center who have tested positive have reported to her and she has reported those cases to Fresno Regional Office as required. Ms. Silva provided copy of Cal/OSHA guidelines and sign-in sheet indicating staff who received Cal/OSHA guidelines on 02/09/2022. Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency cited during today's visit. LIC 9213 NOTICE OF SITE VISIT FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
