What makes a good photo

Your photo should be:
  • Recent: Taken within the last year
  • Clear: In focus, not blurry, shows your face clearly
  • Well-lit: Not too dark or bright, no harsh shadows
  • Unobstructed: Remove sunglasses and hats if possible, full face visible, taken straight-on

How to provide your photo

During registration: Staff will ask if you’d like to provide a photo. You can take a quick photo on your phone or email a photo file to the facility. After registration: Ask any staff member to add your photo. They can take a photo or upload one you provide. It takes just a minute. Photo formats: JPG, PNG, or WEBP files accepted, under 5MB. Most smartphone photos work fine.

Your rights and choices

Provide a photo: Recommended for faster, smoother pickups. Helps with facility security. Not provide a photo: Completely fine — no pressure. Phone verification still works. Your decision is respected. Update your photo: If your appearance changes significantly, ask staff to upload a new photo anytime. The old photo is automatically replaced. Remove your photo: Request removal at any time. The photo is deleted immediately. You can provide a new one later if you change your mind. There are no negative consequences for declining to provide a photo. Your child’s care remains the same and pickup works normally with phone verification.
