Late Pickup Alerts help you stay on top of children who haven’t been picked up as your facility approaches closing time. Alerts appear automatically on your dashboard — no setup required.

Alert states

Warning (orange)

Appears 30 minutes before closing time. Children are still present and closing is approaching.

Critical (red)

Appears after closing time has passed. Immediate parent contact is recommended.

Using alerts

1

Check your dashboard

Alerts appear automatically when conditions are met. You’ll see the number of children still present and time remaining.
2

Review children listed

Each child card shows the child’s name, who signed them in, and a Call button linking to the parent’s phone number.
3

Contact parents

Tap the Call button to open your phone’s dialer with the parent’s number pre-filled. If a phone number is missing, the button appears disabled.

Alerts refresh every 60 seconds. As children are signed out, they’re removed from the alert list.
During the 30-minute window before closing, check your dashboard every 5-10 minutes. Use warning alerts as a prompt to prepare rather than waiting for critical alerts.
Check that your facility’s closing time is configured in Settings, children are currently signed in, and the current time is within 30 minutes of closing.
Verify that the parent’s phone number is on file in the correct format. Update contact information in the Child Roster if needed.
The 30-minute warning window is currently fixed. Your admin can adjust the late pickup warning threshold in Settings to control when children are highlighted on the dashboard.
