Sometimes a sign-in or sign-out gets missed — a parent forgets to scan, or a staff member skips the kiosk. Attendance backfill lets you correct these gaps so your records stay accurate for compliance. Attendance log with date navigation

Quick start

1

Open the attendance log

Navigate to Attendance Log in the sidebar.
2

Navigate to the correct date

Use the date picker or arrow buttons to go to the day that needs correction. You can also click Yesterday for quick access.
3

Add or correct the entry

Find the child or staff member in the list and add the missing sign-in or sign-out time. The record updates immediately.

How it works

The attendance log shows daily records for both children and staff, switchable via the Children and Staff tabs at the top. You can view records in three modes:
ViewShows
TodayCurrent day with live auto-refresh every 60 seconds
This WeekMonday through Friday of the selected week
This MonthFull month view
When viewing a past date, you can add entries that were missed. Each correction is logged with a timestamp so you maintain an audit trail.

Exporting records

After correcting records, you can export the day’s attendance as a CSV file using the CSV button. Use the Print button to generate a printable version for your physical records.
Review yesterday’s attendance each morning as part of your daily routine. Catching missed entries early keeps your records clean for inspections.

Troubleshooting

The attendance log only shows children who are on your active roster. If a child is missing, check the Child Roster page to confirm their enrollment status is active.
CSV export is only available in the Today view mode. Switch to Today view and select the date you want to export.
