The compliance certificate is a printable document summarizing your facility’s attendance and ratio compliance over a date range. Use it during licensing audits or to share compliance status with parents.

Quick start

1

Open attendance reports

Navigate to Attendance Reports from the sidebar.
2

Select a date range

Switch to the Range report type. Set your desired start and end dates using the date pickers.
3

Review and print

The compliance certificate appears below the range summary. Click Print Certificate to open your browser’s print dialog. The certificate is formatted for clean printing with non-essential UI elements hidden automatically.

How it works

The certificate is generated from your attendance records and displays:
  • Facility information — name, license number, facility type, and reporting period
  • Compliance status — a prominent COMPLIANT or REVIEW RECOMMENDED badge based on your metrics
  • Compliance metrics — total operating days, average daily attendance, compliance rate, ratio violations, total check-ins, and override rate
A facility is marked COMPLIANT when the compliance rate is 95% or higher and there are zero ratio violations. Otherwise, the certificate shows REVIEW RECOMMENDED with details on which metrics need attention. Each certificate includes a unique document ID and generation timestamp for audit trail purposes. Compliance metrics displayed on the certificate
Generate a certificate at the end of each month and save the PDF for your records. This builds a compliance history that is useful during annual inspections.
The compliance rate currently reflects attendance override rates. Staff-to-child ratio tracking will be incorporated in a future update when real-time ratio data is available.
