Photo verification adds a visual identity check during child pickup. Staff verify the adult’s photo before completing the handoff, reducing unauthorized pickup risk. Photo verification toggle in settings

Setting up photo verification

1

Open settings

Go to Settings in the sidebar.
2

Find photo verification

Scroll to the Photo Verification section.
3

Toggle on

Enable the toggle. When on, staff must verify the adult’s photo before completing pickup. When off, pickup proceeds without the photo step.
Enable photo verification once at least 50% of authorized adults have photos on file.

How it works

When photo verification is enabled:
  1. An authorized adult arrives for pickup
  2. Staff open the attendance screen and select the child
  3. The adult’s photo appears for visual confirmation
  4. Staff verify the person matches the photo
  5. Pickup is completed

“Why do you need my photo?” — Photos help staff verify identity quickly during pickup, keeping your child safe.“Who can see it?” — Only staff at your facility. Photos are stored securely and not shared externally.“Can I refuse?” — Yes, photos are optional. Phone verification continues as the fallback method.
